I went for my appointment on May 3. I gained 6 1/2 lbs, again! We were trying to get your heartrate with the doppler but you would not lay still long enough, then I had a contraction. It was all quite comical.
Found out I have Gestational Diabetes. I am on strict diet control. I had to go for a 3 hour Glucose test on May 10.
May 13 - Not feeling well. I wish I would have stayed home from work. I started having contractions. As the day went on, so did the contractions. 5 minutes apart. Got home, ate supper. Still having contractions. Called the Dr ... was told to go to L&D to be checked. By the time we got to the hospital they were 3 minutes apart. Given meds to stop the Pre-term labor and spent the night at the hospital. The meds helped so I was sent home the next day. No more work. I am on bedrest and not allowed to do anything but go potty.
May 17 follow-up appointment - BP high. Sent over to hospital to be monitored for 2 hours.
May 18 follow-up appointment - BP back down. Still on bedrest for the remainder of the pregnancy.
The baby is trying to move into position (head down). Right now he / she is lying transverse (sideways). My belly looks like a football.
May 28 appointment - BP ok, Heartrate 150 bpm. Scheduled to see a Perinatologist on June 1st to check you in regards to the Gestational Diabetes, your weight and position, maybe having you manually turned into the head-down position or having a C-Section when I'm far enough along.
May 31 - June 5 - In hospital for Pre-Term Labor and Hydronephrosis (kidney not draining) / Urinary Tract Infection. My cervix is 50% thinned.
I am mentally and emotionally drained. Exhausted. Not thinking straight.
I love you, my little one. Please stay put til it is safe for you to come.
